mel and i have one more shoot in wilmington this morning and then we head to raleigh for our last session of the weekend.  although i love shooting in far off and new locations, i have to admit that i have been away from home so much in the past couple of weeks i am really missing my little sweetie pie, miss liza!  here is a quick snapshot that i grabbed of her the other morning before i took her to school.  her bangs are finally long enough to pull back in to pig tails, yea!  i loved her old short china doll haircut, but she wants to grow her hair as long as ariel.  : ) by the way, if you do not know who ariel is, she is the is the "most beautifulist mermaid princess ever!".

mel and i are in wilmington, nc for kevin and abby's wedding.  we popped in to the wilmington tea room to grab a few quick shots of abby at her bridesmaids luncheon and tea.  this weekend is kentucky derby weekend so the girls were decked out in big brimmed, southern style, kentucky derby hats.  kevin and abby's wedding is going to be so fun to photograph!  the groom, kevin milz, is a fellow photographer and alum of the same photo school that mel and i went to.

it was windy and chilly on the day of mehan + rohan's shoot but they toughed it out!  the weather has been crazy this month but the cherry blossoms were in bloom and the sun was setting so it was the perfect time to shoot.  i'll let the pictures say the rest- it's late and we're off to wilmington bright and early to shoot a wedding!

sweet little siri:

i love this plant that siri is laying in.  is was nice and soft and not itchy like grass.  does anybody know what it is called? 

siri had some really good silly faces! 

she can also be serious too.
