so, i just finished watching the vice presidential debates......YOU GOTTA VOTE!

we are starting a new feature on our blog called "meet a whitebox mom".  we love reading real simple family and the pages where you get to meet the real moms are our favorite!  since our clients are so awesome, we figured that they would be the perfect candidates for this!  hopefully we can all learn from each other and feel a little more connected along the way.  go moms!

I just created these storyboards for the hoffman family and i think they turned out pretty cute!  we offer them in 10x20, 15x30, and 20x40 (go big!).  they look really good in a kid's room!

blogs create amazing connections between people who have never met face to face.  by posting and leaving comments people develop online relationships.

i stalk many photography blogs.  when i actually meet the people whose blogs i read i feel like i already know them.  i think that is how our clients that read our blog feel.  our clients already know about our families, our pets, where we have been traveling before we even meet them.  after our shoot they can keep up with our lives from reading our blog, thus continuing our connection till our next session together.  since mel and my lives are so hectic these days even our friends use our blog to keep up with what is going on in our lives!

artful blogging magazine is a publication that explores artist's blogs.  the current issue of artful blogging features a story on the bond that was created via all of the photogirls' blogs.  we had our first annual photogirl retreat back in march of this year. 

wondering where we have been?  yes, it is true...we actually took a week off!  no work, lots of sunshine, and time with our families.  it was wonderful.  : )

this week we have been playing catching up on the long list of things that piled up while we were on vacation.  here at whitebox we can't stay in one place for long.  today we headed out for 2 weeks of various location shoots from asheville, nc to NYC, but we will be blogging from the road, so keep checking back!
