kids: the almstead girls
these gorgeous little girls toughed the cold winds for our photo shoot! we started out with a few family shots for the almstead's christmas card.

then the girls changed into their "farm girl" digs.




when you can't get the dog to cooperate for the photoshoot, just tackle him!

i love how consistent your look is. It's so fresh and modern, but somehow still classic. LOVE IT. And wish i had the same consistency.

focus is tricky! we used mostly prime lenses and we use the back focus button. also, we sharpen our images in photoshop.
mel uses the focus and recompose method to focus and i change my focusing points constantly, so you just have to find what works best for you.
