i can't believe that my little beanie is going to turn 4 tomorrow!

i actually feel like a bit of a super mom today.  today between blogging, packing, uploading galleries, answering emails, and 3 kid shoots, i managed to make it to eliza's school for a birthday party.  i was in such a foul mood on my 25 minute drive to her school because i have soooo much to do before mel and i leave for bald head island tomorrow morning at 6 a.m.  i forgot everything as soon as i saw the excited look on liza's face.  i brought cupcakes and balloons and you would of thought i hung the moon by her expression!  i felt so recharged and happy when i left her party (and i do not think it was from the sugar from the cupcake!).

eliza wanted a pony/pin-the-tale-on-the-donkey party for her school party, and yes that was her exact request. 

i do not recommend licking your candles if they are lit, but apparently it is really fun to do when they are not.  here is liza helping one of her buddies with pin the tale on the donkey.

i wanted to post just a couple of my favorite shots of eliza from the past couple of years, so you can see how much she has changed!  here is one of the last shots of liza with her "baby mullet".

this is from her birthday party last year.  cake face and all.  i can't believe how much her hair has grown.  i still adore this haircut, but my husband and liza both want to grow her hair out loooooong, like ariel.

mel and i are leaving town bright and early to make it to bald head island for linnet and peter's wedding tomorrow night.  our families are going to join us for eliza's birthday weekend and fun in the sun.  stay tuned for eliza's 4 year old photo session!
