yea!  we had a weekend off! 

mel and tim had an end of summer pot luck at their new house.  there was lots of good food, good friends, and good music!

this is mel's hubby, tim, playin' fiddle.  he and his band, milltown, plus a few other friends were our musical entertainment.

this is mel's sister alison.  she has a beautiful voice too!

we had several aspiring pickers there too.  this is makayla taking a cookie break from playing her guitar.

jackson, mel's dog is not that good at playing the guitar, but he knows how to howl!

eliza playing with makayla.  note her beautiful self styled hairdo and "jewels"!  she is also very adept at stuffed animal styling.  she has a million rubberbands, clips, and jewels on all of her animals.
