welp, it has been an exciting fall, no pun intended, to say the least.  two weeks ago i (sara) broke my arm when i fell while i was carrying ryder.  he is ok now, but we had a scary trip to the er and spent the night at the hospital.  i have been trying to master being a one armed mom and a one armed photographer.  : )

thank you to all of our awesome clients that are being so patient while i peck away on the computer with my one hand!  mel has stepped it up and she has been doing a lot of the shooting.  i should be back on top in a couple of weeks.  all i can say is thank goodness ryder is ok, thank goodness that i broke my left arm and not my shooting arm and that i have an awesome business parter!

this has been the longest dry spell on our blog!  don't fear....we are back!  : )

mel and i are shooting and shooting on sunday (well mel might shoot clay pigeons, since i have one working arm i think i better not!).  we are taking photos at the blast for boobs fundraiser to raise money for the friends for an earlier breast cancer test.  i lost my gramma and my god mother to breast cancer, so i am passionate about this cause.

this is the 4th time we've photographed klei since he was born.  we always gush about how easy he is to photograph...well, that was before he turned 2 ;)  it happens to the best of them.  what is it about 2 year olds? luckily, mom and dad have the perfect attitude about it - they just laugh and keep on going!

here is what really happens at a two year old photoshoot:

"No!" - Klei , age 2

lots of scooping up, running, and laughing (ie- please don't run into the street)

when all else fails, flip them upside down!

ok, this girl is just too gorgeous!   she is so naturally beautiful.  also, she is a really sweet girl.  if i were her parents i would be moving to idaho to a 700 acre farm.  beautiful britt is only 13.  dad, you better get your shot gun shined up!
