charleston weddings are always a treat to photograph.  combine the gorgeous setting of charleston, one hot bride, and a g.q. good looking groom and you get carla and jason's wedding.

the ring bearer and flower girl were so cute.  they were so sweet during the wedding and then they cut loose on the dance floor at the reception.  this little boy has some killer dance moves!  watch out girls, he is gonna be a heartbreaker!

we met carla and jason downtown charlotte for their loveshoot.  they are brave souls who flew in from sunny florida to freezing north carolina for their photoshoot.  on the way to the shoot the meteorologist said with the wind chill factor it felt like it was 12 degrees outside! 

carla and jason met at an unusual function....a kick ball game!  who knew there was kick ball for grown ups?  if i did not have a fear of sports with balls flying at my face i would definitely join a kick ball league....maybe i could be a cheerleader? : )

we found this construction area with a funky green wall for our shoot.  we got a lot of snuggling up shots.  yes, they are in love, but they are also freezing!

then we moved as close as we could to the sun.  we went to the top of a parking deck!

i love how carla's eye is peeking out from behind her hair.  she and jason both have gorgeous eyes!

 i knew erin and matt were going to be easy to photograph and tons of fun to work with when this was one of their first shots of the day!  matt is a citadel alum.  this photo was taken in the courtyard of his old dorm. 

erin is our first celebrity bride. : )  she is an anchor/reporter for the channel 5 news. 

josie and roscoe are erin and matt's adorable rescue dogs.

we headed down to the college of charleston and the battery for a few shots.

i love this photo.  it reminds me of an estee lauder perfume ad for some reason.  they always have beautiful women and cute dogs in their ads. 

we are looking forward to warmer temperatures when we see matt and erin at their wedding.  it was about 40 degrees on the day of our shoot!

we are headed through charlotte on our way to charleston this weekend.  we had a little bit of time open up and of course since we are shooting maniacs, we wanted to see if anyone wanted to book a session this weekend.  we will be in charlotte on saturday am and charleston saturday afternoon thru sunday evening.  give us a shout out if you are interested.
