carson + scott braved chilly temps and gusty winds for their loveshoot.  they are so laid back it didn't seem to bug them a bit!

i was thrilled when art + gwen asked sara and i to come photograph their family at their beautiful mountain house in lenoir (aka-sherwood forest).  they are tim's aunt + uncle and we don't get together often enough, so it was great to see them.  tim's cousins were also visiting from dc and texas, so we did a big family session.

we had a fantastic time on thursday when 6 of us girls plus two dogs piled in brooke's land rover and went to carova beach.  if you've never been to carova, it is north of corolla on the obx and you have to take a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there since there are no paved roads. awesome!  they have wild horses, and wild pigs and all sorts of cool stuff to photograph, but I decided to shoot brooke's doggies instead :)   (for some totally amazing dog photos, check out anna kuperberg- here or here)     Mel
