carrie works with my husband tim, so I've known her for a few years now.  we're so excited to be shooting their wedding!  sometimes it can be weird to shoot people you know but carrie + rudy rocked it out at their loveshoot and made my job easy!!

I (mel) met katie a few years back when I was a photo editor.  she is a graphic designer and our desks were side by side in the back corner of the office.  this turned out to be a great thing for us and a bad thing for the company!  we got more gossiping done than work but she is a good friend and i'm glad that we've kept in touch!  of course, her wedding totally rocked!

we braved the gale force winds to do the pictures outside

we can't forget the guys and their sweet socks.  all the girls had carolina tattoos so the guys had to have nc state socks. i'm not taking sides....

k + g have been taking shag lessons for a while now so their first dance was awesome!

we had to grab k + g for a few quick shots just before the sun set.  these turned out to be my favorites of the day !

last fall we shot maggie's senior portraits.  maggie and evan's parents wanted to get some fun portraits of the kids before maggie flies the coup to go to asu in august.

maggie and evan are not only brother and sister, but good buddies too.  it is so nice to shoot siblings that actually like each other!
