shanika and ashford tied the knot on july 21st in rocky mount, nc.  the weather was beautiful and the day couldn't have gone any better!

maile, The wonderful and talented photographer, of relish portrait studio, is not only an awesome photographer, but an amazing writer.  she has such a great sense of humor.  i always get a chuckle from her blog.  speaking of blogs....she is also a fantastic blogger.  check her out at daily relish.

maile is a blog-oholic (i borrowed that word from one of our blog stalkers, sara.  she said:  "fun fact: it drives my sister crazy that I put "oholic" after everything! ex: whiteboxweddings blog-oholic!")

we met laura and kevin at the nc museum of art in raleigh- the sculpture park turned out to be a great place to shoot!  the museum is doing a huge expansion and we can't wait to see it when it is completed!

amanda is a st. mary's grad so we hit a few spots on campus before heading over to a nearby rose garden.  it was a little rainy but the light was great!

melissa and lee are two of the nicest folks you'll ever meet and we're looking forward to their wedding in october at the o'henry.  melissa has a very infectious laugh- you can't help but laugh along with her!
